Around this time last week, Candace Parker and the Los Angeles Sparks were wrapping up the franchise's first WNBA championship since 2002 — also the first of Parker's storied career. To congratulate its leading female basketball endorser, Adidas recently took out a full-page ad in the LA times celebrating Parker's victory and Finals MVP. Touched by the gesture, Parker offered a response on Twitter today.
Speaking on her long-standing relationship with the brand, which dates back to her college days at Tennessee, Parker broke out part of her Adidas sneaker collection. There's retro Kobes, Pharrell NMDs, AlphaBounces, EQTs and of course, Yeezy Boosts. There's a good chance she'll be receiving more heat from her 3-Stripe family in the near future.
Thx @adidas for the full page love in the LA Times! 3 stripes rode with me thru the valleys & now were at the peak. #AlwaysBeen3Stripes #Fam pic.twitter.com/rOZbzOpvfK
