#SoleWatch: The Best Sneakers Worn at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards

Last night, MTV held its annual Video Music Awards at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

The night's big winner was Kendrick Lamar, who won awards for six of the eight categories in which he was nominated, including the coveted Video of the Year. It was also his first public appearance as the official face of the Nike Cortez since the announcement was made on Saturday. He went with the Cortez Shark Low in all-white.

Also making a splash with his kicks was DJ Khaled, who wore two limited Air Jordan collaborations, beginning with the Eminem x Carhartt x Air Jordan 4 collaboration. Infant son Asahd also got in the fun, going super luxury with baby Gucci lace-ups.

The event lacked the star power that one typically tunes in to see, but the sneaker selection was pretty solid. We've rounded up the evening's best pairs in this special edition of Celebrity #SoleWatch.
