Black Friday is known as an unofficial holiday among sneakerheads as many collectors line up or hit online retailers with the hopes of getting their hands on sneakers. Jordan Brand has capitalized on the trend by doing major sneaker releases with the Air Jordan "Black Cement" IIIs and "Infrared" VIs being some of its previous Black Friday drops. This year, the "Aqua" VIII released and to much surprise it is still available in most sizes.
Making only its second return to retailers in its 22 year lifespan, the "Aqua" VIII was thought to be an extremely sought after sneaker. Unlike the pair released in 2007, the latest retro is more reminiscent of the original pair released in 1993 with a more distinct grey upper, golden yellow, multicolor insole, and sparkling midsole.
