Dominic Ciambrone, a.k.a. "The Shoe Surgeon," is well known for his one-of-a-kind sneaker customs and for his latest project, he has teamed up with both Sonic The Hedgehog and Puma to recreate the iconic shoe worn by Sonic in the latest film hitting theaters tomorrow.
This custom pair features an original design with a slip-on upper using a combination of knitted fabric and a premium leather construction that was developed from scratch along with a white midfoot strap true to Sonic's version. Additional details include Puma branding on the tongue's yellow pull tab as well as The Shoe Surgeon's logo on the heel. The look is completed with the tooling pulled from the sole of the Puma RS-X. Only five pairs of this The Shoe Surgeon x Sonic The Hedgehog x Puma custom were created and it doesn't appear to be releasing to the public any time soon. Sonic The Hedgehog will officially hit theaters tomorrow.
