Kanye West is pulling out all the stops for the highly-anticipated launch of his Adidas Yeezy Quantum dropping exclusively in his hometown city of Chicago during this weekend's NBA All-Star festivities including giving away the sneakers for free to fans in the area.
Seen in the video below, secret Sherp ATVs have been spotted driving around the Windy City, which has now been linked to Yeezy's Adidas basketball model. Throughout the remainder of the day, the vehicles will be parked in different locations across the city and will be giving away pairs of the Yeezy Quantum ahead of its scheduled launch this weekend including Wicker Park as the first destination.
Fans have long awaited the release of the Yeezy Quantum since 2018 when West took to his personal Instagram account sharing on-foot photos of the model as well as reports suggesting that the shoe was going to be banned by the NBA due to the reflective nature of the heel. Last week, It was also leaked by the Yeezy Mafia that two versions of the model are expected to release including a lifestyle variation dubbed "QNTM" along with a performance-based construction known as "BSKTBL."
The Adidas Yeezy Quantum is currently scheduled to release exclusively at select Adidas Yeezy stockists in Chicago on Feb. 16 for $250. Click here for the complete list of stores that are releasing the sneakers this weekend.
