Jordan Brand is paying homage to Milan with its latest iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Mid releasing next week.
The brand's connection with the city goes all the way back to 1986, which was where the original launch of the Air Jordan 2 was manufactured to give the shoe its premium craftsmanship. This latest "Milan" Jordan 1 Mid will deepen the connection with a pastel color scheme that reference's the city's historic architecture featuring premium materials on the upper including textured leather, suede, and mesh along with a "MLN" hangtag attached on the laces.
According to the brand, a pre-release for the Air Jordan I Mid "Milan" will take place on Feb. 19 at sneaker retailer One Block Down's brick and mortar location in Milan followed by a global release on Feb. 22.
