adidas are closing out 2019 with a highly-hyped update to one of their hottest franchises. Since its game-changing introduction in 2015, adidas' NMD family has gone from strength to strength and as this lifestyle runner's impressive catalogue continues to grow, adidas introduce the NMD R1 V2.
Whilst the original NMD silhouette is relatively unchanged, there are some noticeable new design features. The multi-lingual branding on the Primeknit upper has been updated, now in the form of a rectangular strip sitting atop the classic three stripes. There's also new branding present below the lace panel, in the form of an "NMD" stamp. Design changes toward the rear of the shoe are present as well – the NMD's customary heel piece has been enlarged to incorporate an elasticated heel tab, branded in true NMD fashion.
The NMD R1 V2 is dropping in four street ready colourways, including a Black/White/Gold edition exclusive to Foot Locker Europe. Completing the drop is a Black/Blue/Red model that takes inspiration from the OG NMD, and a pair of releases in contrasting monochrome palettes.
