The partnership was announced Saturday morning with cryptic images spotted across Miami (where Cudi will headline this weekend’s Rolling Loud festival), Los Angeles and New York. Plastered throughout the country, the graphic showcases a feminine half head with a burning moon inside and will appear on all upcoming Adidas x Kid Cudi product set to release later this year. At the bottom of the poster is a URL that invites fans to visit adidas.com/kidcudi, where there's sign-up page to be one of the first to get notified for when the collaboration goes live. While the product has yet to be unveiled, Adidas has confirmed that the collaboration will feature an assortment of footwear and apparel pieces.
Kid Cudi is no stranger when it comes to his collaborative efforts with the brand. Last year, Cudi teamed up with Adidas and Foot Locker to debut the TRESC Run sneaker help launch the Asterisk Collective, a platform that empowers creative partners to positively impact communities all over the world through their respective initiatives. Picking up where things left off, the Kid Cudi x Adidas partnership will also serve as a platform to share the positive impact that creativity can have in mental wellness through the sectors of music, art and design.
