In case you've been living under a rock for quite some time, LeBron James is set to return to South Beach for the first time since departing for Ohio when the Cavs take on the Heat tomorrow afternoon. As has been the case for the past couple of years, LeBron will take the court in a special edition Christmas Day sneaker. With the big game just a day away, we've decide to give you another look at the Nike LeBron 12 "Akron Birch."

Inpsired by Akron, Ohio's winter weather, the LeBron 12 "Akron Birch" features a birch tree pattern on the sneaker's Hyperposite overlay. For the second year in a row, LeBron's Christmas Day sneaker will sport an emerald green upper with accents of hyper punch and black throughout. For a Yuletide touch, Nike has included a snowflake on the tongue loop made up of small hexagons, which is a nod to the HexZoom pattern on the LeBron 12's outsole. After all, the LeBron 12 is the only basketball sneaker to feature the revolutionary pattern. Rounding out the shoe is a translucent icy blue outsole which adds an extra winter element.
