After opening a store in Newport Beach, Nike opened its second women's-only store today at the iAPM shopping mall in Shanghai.

Those in attendance for the store's grand opening included elite Chinese runners Tao Yujia, Zhao Jing and Jin Yuan. The 4,500 square-foot space will offer premium women’s running and training sportswear apparel and footwear. Nike is improving the shopping experience by providing on-site fitness classes along with opportunities for customers to try the latest footwear and apparel.  Among the services offered in-store are the Nike+ Run analysis, footwear trials, bra fittings, pant hemmings, access to shopping on Nike.com and NIKEiD, and a comprehensive training experience including Nike+ Run Club and Nike+ Training Club.

“This new store is the latest example of just how well we serve women at retail," said Heidi O’Neill, VP & GM, Nike Stores. Our global strategy is to inspire and deeply connect with consumers in our stores and online and Greater China continues to be an important geography where this comes to life."
