Imagine your football team only puts up a measly 104 total offensive yards in comparison to your opponent's 378. You'd probably stand no chance at coming out with the W, right? On November 1, 2009, the Miami Dolphins defied these odds against the New York Jets thanks in part to two TDs off kickoff returns by current Carolina Panther Ted Ginn Jr.
Early on in the game, the Jets looked to be in control, but things quickly changed at the 10:10 mark of the third quarter when Ted Ginn Jr. returned a kickoff for a 100-yard touchdown. This gave Miami a 10-6 lead, and was soon followed by another TD on Jason Taylor's 48 yard fumble return. Before the quarter was over, New York began to mount a comeback, drawing closer at 17-13. Then, the unthinkable happened, as Ted Ginn Jr. returned another kickoff for a TD, this time for 101 yards. Miami would go on to win the game 30-25 without hardly having to lift a finger on offense.
