Ah, the infamous butt fumble. While it may not rank among the greatest NFL Turkey Day highlights of all time, it's certainly one of the most unforgettable.

On November 22, 2012, the New York Jets hosted the New England Patriots for a Thanksgiving day match-up. The first quarter of play was relatively uneventful, with both teams failing to put any points on the board. In the second quarter, the Jets had one of the most problematic stretches of play of all time, fumbling the ball three times in the span of 56 seconds, resulting in three Patriots touchdowns. However, the worst play of all came when Mark Sanchez collided with guard Brandon Moore, losing the ball in the process. The play, which has become known as the "butt fumble," was selected by ESPN as the Worst of the Worst for nearly an entire year.

During this notorious miscue, Mark Sanchez wore the Nike Lunar Super Bad Pro, which remains one of the most popular cleats with pro and collegiate players alike. Try them out today for $75, just be sure to keep an eye on your guards.
