As we've recently been seeing select NBA ballers leaving larger brands for smaller companies, Bulls center Joakim Noah has decided to do the opposite. In confirming the recent rumored reports, adidas now announces that the All-Star big man has inked a deal with the Three Stripes.

Noah had been with Le Coq Sportif since 2007, but will now be joining six other Chicago teammates, of course highlighted by Derrick Rose, who rep adidas Basketball. In addition to D Rose, Dwight Howard, Damian Lillard and Tim Duncan are other notable names that sport Three Stripes.

“Joakim has demonstrated the work ethic, passion and attitude that make him a perfect fit for the adidas brand,” said Chris Grancio, adidas head of global basketball sports marketing. “When you watch him play, his competitiveness and love of the game is contagious on the court and we’re excited to partner with him as he enters the prime of his career.”

As for now, it is being reported that Noah will wear adidas' Crazyquick silhouette to start the season, but expect marketing campaigns to arise shortly and subsequent info to follow.
