The follow-up to Eddie Murphy's 1988 classic Coming to America will arrive on Amazon Prime Video next month, and now we've gotten a second look at the comedy sequel.

Revealing a little more of the plot than the teaser, the new trailer showcases King Akeem Joffer's relationship with his estranged son, and a glimpse at Wesley Snipes' General Izzi. The mother of Joffer's child is played by Leslie Jones, who personally apologizes to his wife for sleeping with him prior to their marriage. The trailer comes ahead of the Amazon Prime Video launch on March 5. Other cast featured include Tracy Morgan's Reem, Teyana Taylor as General Izzi's henchwoman, and James Earl Jones returning as King Jaffe Joffer.

Coming 2 America isn't the only belated comedy sequel Amazon has nabbed recently, as the streaming service released Borat 2 ahead of the elections last fall. The film went on to be one of Prime's most successful releases of the year, bringing in millions of viewers during its first weekend. It quickly became the second most-streamed film in the U.S. for 2021, according to Amazon. It remains to be seen if Coming 2 America will replicate that success, but it already looks likely.

Watch the trailer above, and catch the full movie on March 5.
