Marvel fans recently saw the multiverse in action during Spider-Man: No Way Home, but now they’re about to see more of what the concept is capable of.

The studio has shared the official trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on Super Bowl Sunday, with Benedict Cumberbatch reprising his role as the titular character in what should be an explosive cinematic event (at least judging by this new trailer’s effects).

In the clip, Stephen Strange can be seen joined by Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and America Chavez, played by Xochitl Gomez, as the three are attempting to address what seems to be an evil version of himself. The film itself will be directed by famed original Spider-Man trilogy director Sam Raimi and written by Michael Waldron (Loki) and Jade Halley Bartlett, and will serve as a proper sequel to the first Doctor Strange film from 2016.

Also featured in the new film will be Rachel McAdams reprising her role as Strange’s love interest Dr. Christine Palmer, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who will be returning as Mordo. The first teaser for the movie dropped back in December, and the latest poster can be seen below.

“You cannot control everything, Strange,” Benedict Wong’s character of Wong says in the clip. “You opened the doorway between universes and we don’t know who or what will walk through it.”
