D.L. Hughley is once again weighing in on Pete Davidson and the artist formerly known as Kanye West, and this time he’s not a supporter of Davidson’s apparent new ink.

Over the weekend, observant fans began speculating about a fresh tattoo on Davison’s neck, which seemingly features the letters “KNSCP.” Many are assuming it’s a nod to his girlfriend Kim Kardashian and her children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, incorporating each of their first initials.

Of course, Ye is the father of the four children, and also someone who Davidson has traded shots with both publicly and via text, so the internet has gone back and forth on whether or not the tattoo—if it in fact represents Kim’s family—is overstepping.

D.L. Hughley shared his thoughts on the apparent display of affection toward the Kardashian-West family, telling TMZ on Tuesday that while he was “very vocal” about Ye in the past, that doesn’t make a tattoo of another man’s children OK.

“It’s his body, it’s his woman, those are Kanye’s kids,” Hughley said. “That would piss me off. If you put my kids—and I got my kids tattooed on me—but if you did that…look, look, they’ll always be mine. I don’t know what happened with that situation, but they’ll always be my children. And now, to me, the father’s alive, he’s a good father, he’s taking care of his kids, I don’t understand what that is all about. It’s none of my business but if you tattooed my kids on your neck, I’d have something to say about it.”

Hughley elaborated that when you “do things like that, it’s trouble for you.”

“Nobody’s telling you [that] you can’t live your life,” he said. “That’s your woman, you’re having a good time. But you’re putting that man’s kids on your neck, that’s antagonizing. That’s out of pocket to me.”

As recently as March, it was reported that Davidson had not yet been introduced to Kim and Kanye’s children. In April, Pete was photographed riding around on an electric Moke vehicle with North. As TMZ reported at the time, Davidson was alleged to have “now met the kids,” but reports still indicated it was unclear if he met any of North’s younger siblings. Ye wrote in an Instagram post in February that “you will never meet my children,” alongside a text that Davidson seemingly sent him.

“If you did that to me, I would have a problem with it,” Hughley said. “I think that is problematic. You can have your relationship, it is what it is, but I would feel like I’m their father. I’m there in their life. He ain’t an absentee father. He’s their father. And you know already that stuff is going on. You already know that it’s a volatile situation. Do you think that’s gonna help?”
