UPDATED 8/15, 1:15 p.m. ET: TMZ has shared an update on Bam Margera's recent arrest, citing sources saying he was readmitted into a rehab facility "immediately after" being released from police custody. The 39-year-old Margera has reportedly agreed to the revised conditions of his admittance, which are said to include a greater commitment from the Jackass and Viva La Bam franchise star.

Prior to the reported readmittance, Dr. Phil shared some words of encouragement. "My attitude is NEVER surrender to the disease," he said, per TMZ. "It is a tug of war and you just can't ever drop your end of the rope."

Bam Margera, who last week made headlines by publicly urging television personality Dr. Phil to intervene because his "family is in shambles," was arrested early Wednesday, reportedly after exiting rehab.

That’s the word from consistent provider of such news, TMZ, which reported that Margera was booked by the Los Angeles Police Department after they were called to the Luxe Hotel on Sunset Blvd. Prior to their arrival, according to the report, Margera had been placed under citizen’s arrest by someone who worked at the hotel.

The Viva La Bam and Jackass star is said to have exchanged heated words with people at the bar of the hotel, then refused to leave. Upon the cops showing up to the scene, Margera allegedly declined to leave once again and argued with the officers, ultimately leading to a trespassing arrest and a $1,000 bail.

In the footage, Margera is seen sitting on the ground and exchanging words with witnesses and what sounds like an officer. "I want my phone. If you get it, I'll leave," Margera says, later saying he hopes the presumed officer will "rough me the fuck up." In response to someone saying maybe he "should have stayed in rehab," Margera suggests the person should maybe "get a fatter head."

Earlier this week, Margera continued his Dr. Phil campaign with a tattoo of his name:

Margera said earlier this month that Dr. Phil’s team had been in touch with him, with TMZ's Wednesday report adding that the two recently had a closed session that resulted in Margera agreeing to treatment. He reportedly then checked into a treatment facility, which he exited within days.

"I know you think sobriety is 'boring,' but I can assure you my life is not boring, and what you're up to is not 'fun,'" Margera’s fellow Jackass franchise star Steve-O advised in an Instagram comment earlier this month.
