RZA, the original wearer of many hats, will slide back into the director's chair for the forthcoming action-thriller Breakout. The film marks RZA's third time behind the camera, following the soon-to-be-releasedCoco and his 2012 debut The Man With the Iron Fists. According to Variety, Breakout centers on a young photographer who finds himself falsely charged with drug trafficking in Bangladesh.

"The multi-talented RZA has mastered the art of music, acting and filmmaking,” said Bradley Gallo and Michael Helfant of Amasia Entertainmentin a press release. “We are ecstatic to have him behind the camera on our next project as he brings a fresh and innovative take to this international action thriller from Rich D’Ovidio." RZA's talents are familiar to Amasia, who previously enlisted the Wu-Tang Clancaptain for the Anna Kendrick film Mr. Right, which is set to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.
