Though what someone does or doesn't do (within legal bounds) when off the clock shouldn't really matter, a teacher in Ohio is now facing a windstorm of controversy after being outed as a porn star. Kristin Sundman, known as melodyXXXtune in her pornographic endeavors, resigned from her position as an assistant band teacher at Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent after being placed on administrative leave due to an anonymous tip revealing Sundman's after-hours career.
Many esteemed literary journals, including the Daily Mail, have reported that melodyXXXtune's work appeared on a variety of your favorite websites including Pornhub, It's Cleo, and Sunny Lane Live. Citing a request from an unidentified copyright holder, Pornhub swiftly removed melodyXXXtune's entire catalog from its services earlier this week. As for any further investigation, local officials will (thankfully) not be pursuing any such thing. "We received a resignation, and that is effective immediately," superintendent George Joseph told the Record-Courier shortly after Sundman's departure. "With that resignation, our investigation of the matter is closed, as she is no longer our employee."
Sadly, Joseph then proceeded to question the validity of Sundman's performance as both a teacher and a human being due solely to her decision to participate in the adult film industry. When pressed for any details as to whether or not anyone suspected Sundman to be a secret porn star, Joseph reportedly said such behavior would have been considered "out of character" for a "great employee." Though Joseph's assertion that porn stars are incapable of being great employees is certainly intellectually offensive on a variety of complicated levels, a proper rebuttal is admittedly another article for another day.
