Cara Delevingne is set to star in a new heist thriller, titled Punk, alongside Machine Gun Kelly.

Delevingne and MGK's casting was announced this week by the Hollywood Reporter, who added the "high-octane heist thriller" will be shopped to potential buyers at Cannes.

Delevingne and MGK play a brother and sister who lead a group of runaways on a road trip. The characters' journey begins with the receipt of a rejection letter by Peter, played by the previously announced Vince Staples. As their travels go deeper, Staples' character becomes tuned in to the fact that he's on the road with some full-blown bank robbers.

Richard Hughes wrote and directed the film, which is executive produced by Sylvester and Sistine Stallone. Shooting, per THR, is slated to begin later this year. Previously, the film—prior to the announcement of new cast additions—was said to be aiming for a late 2018 shoot in Los Angeles.

Both Delevingne and MGK have proven themselves as multi-hyphenates with a slew of recent high-profile projects, like Staples. In addition to providing voice talent for this year's Lazor Wulf, Staples' credits include an American Dad! cameo and the 2017 French-Japanese collab MFKZ.

In a must-read interview with GQ in February, Staples did not discuss Punk, but he did offer an assessment on pizza."I don't want to kill myself, I'm cool," Staples said at the time. "If you have to go to sleep after you eat something, you shouldn't be eating it. Because that means your body shut down."
