The recent $40 million deal with the Kardashian family for three more years of Keeping Up with the Kardashians on E! says it all—reality shows about famous celebrity families are hot. They've been around for a while, of course: The Osbournes, the Hogans, and the Lohans, just to name a few, all had reality shows of their own chronicling their familial dramas, each fairly successful in their own right.
This Sunday marks the return of the veteran series Keeping Up with the Kardashians and the E! premiere of Mrs. Eastwood and Company, the new reality series that follows famed filmmaker Clint Eastwood's wife, and with an upcoming Lifetime series following the late Whitney Houston's family in development, the trend isn't losing steam at all. Which begs the question: Which famous fam will be next to show its asses on camera? Here our some we'd love to see: 10 Celebrity Families That Should Have Reality TV Shows.

10. The Baldwins
The Baldwin brothers, with their innate craziness, would be perfect for reality television—remember big (and iconically hairy) bro Alec’s rather unfortunate voicemail meant for his daughter in which he called her a “thoughtless little pig”? Or how about Stephen Baldwin, who became a born-again Christian after years of sex and drugs, and has since filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and also sued Kevin Costner? Imagine if cameras had been rolling on any of that!
Instead of following the Kardashian model, which keeps everyone relatively likable while still generating drama between family members, producers could just stick the Baldwins in a bio-dome for the duration of filming like a real life version of Stephen's 1996 film Bio-Dome. Alec would undoubtedly throw fits of rage, Stephen would try to save everyone's souls from eternal damnation, Daniel, who's done reality TV before (Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew!) would be the first to actually go crazy, and William would contribute nothing like always besides reminding people he was in Backdraft.
It would be a story of brotherly love, friendship, survival, and most of all drama—the most inspiring shit on TV since the last Lifetime movie that aired. Hopefully, though, it wouldn't inspire some sort of attack from the Canadians a la the South Park movie. But isn't that a chance we’re all willing to take for this?
9. The Smiths
If there's one family on this list that compares to the Kardashians, it's the Smiths—not because of their roles in the entertainment industry, of course. While the Kardashians have built a name for themselves in Hollywood through a sex tape and reality television shows, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith both have established legitimate acting careers and their children are just beginning to follow in their footsteps.
The comparisons start when one realizes that, despite how successful they are in their careers, the entire family is still total tabloid gold. Whether it's rumors about Will and Jada's marriage, Willow's diva-like behavior, or the future of Jaden's rap career, when it comes to the Smiths, everything is a potential story, and therefore, a storyline. Well, except for anything that has to do with Trey Smith, Will's son from another marriage, but every family's got the quiet one.
8. The Coppolas & Schwartzmans
The Coppolas and the Schwartzmans have all the makings of the perfect sitcom family. First, you've got Francis Ford Coppola, a bona fide badass and famous as hell filmmaker. Then, his daughter and the "golden child," Sofia Coppola, a talented filmmaker in her own right and wildly successful. Jason Schwartzman, Sofia's cousin and the total hipster in the family. Robert Schwartzman, the wanna-be hipster because, let's face it, his band Rooney is anything but. And then, finally, the unintentionally hilarious loon, Nicolas Cage (né Nicolas Kim Coppola).
But since the family sitcom in the same vein of The Brady Bunch is dead, a reality show is the next best thing for these guys. We can see it now: The Sofia-Nic rivalry, Jason and Robert being hipsters together, the family get-togethers... They'd be the Kardashians, only more talented.
7. The Olsens
In their adolescence, the Olsen twins had two of the most well-known faces in the country (or, one of the most, considering they basically have the same face). Now, however, it’s their little sister, Elizabeth Olsen, stealing the spotlight and emerging as the family’s golden child.
WIth Mary-Kate and Ashley left in young Lizzie's proverbial shadow, a reality show following their plight as they deal with this could be gold, especially if there's any truth to this article right here. If there’s one thing viewers love, it’s controversy between family members—the uglier, the better. And Mary-Kate? She looks like a hair-puller.
6. The Estevezes
Truthfully, it's a surprise that Charlie Sheen, born Carlos Estevez, hasn't already participated in his own reality show, given his wild ways and famous meltdown. Why not rectify that with a show starring not only Charlie, but his uncle, B-Horror movie actor Joe Estevez, his brother, Breakfast Club star Emilio Estevez, and his father, the one and only Martin Sheen.
Charlie has all the makings of a reality television star (he's straight-up mentally unstable) and the rest of these guys need jobs anyway (except for Martin Sheen, who is actually a reputable actor), so they'd be desperate to act out for cash. It would be a better platform for Charlie than his stand-up if he wants to do something outside of acting, because his stand-up sucked.
You know it would be...wait for it...
5. The Hansons
In the '90s, with its hit "MMMBop," Hanson was a large part of the pop boy band craze. Fast forward to 2012, and there's little buzz about the trio of brothers, which is something to note for current boy bands like The Jonas Brothers and One Direction or whatever.
Yes, Isaac, Taylor, and Zac are still together and releasing music, but at this point they're largely forgotten, just a blip from people's adolescent pasts. So, a reality series following the guys as they try to figure out how to survive in a world where "MMMBop" is considered an oldie and The Backstreet Boys are on their, like, tenth comeback would be fascinating, to say the least. Do we think they'd achieve musical relevance again? Our gut says they would MMMnot, but it'd be fun to watch all the same.
4. The Buseys
Gary Busey and his big ol' chompers would make for an interesting show on their own, but imagine throwing in girlfriend Steffanie Sampson and their young son, Luke. How exactly does Gary Busey parent? How does he handle sexytime? How does he relate to his grown children from previous relationships, Jake and Alectra, and his ex-wife Judy Helkenberg? We haven't the faintest idea, but we're willing to bet he does all the above crazily, with a wild look in his eye. And we damn sure would tune in to find out.
3. The Allens
Bet you didn't even know these two were related, did you? Yeah, we were caught by surprise too when we found out that Alfie Allen, otherwise known as the dude who plays straight-up asshole Theon Greyjoy on Game of Thrones, is the younger brother of English singer Lily Allen. That 2007 hit she had about her "little brother" who will never get laid because he smokes too much weed and stays in bed all day playing video games? More specifically, the one that was titled "Alfie"? Yup. Meet Alfie.
Obviously, after she made such a harsh song public, there's gotta be some pent-up animosity between the two, especially on Alfie's end, which could make for some great television. Additionally, Lily Allen has a history of being a bit unstable, which is practically a prerequisite for any reality television star.
2. The Camerons
Since Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron turned into a born-again evangelical Christian, his presence in the media has been somewhat...interesting, to say the least. He participated in this video about bananas, a bunch of former child stars participated in a Funny or Die video about how his opinions are stupid, and also, no one came to his birthday party. His sister, former Full House star Candace Cameron Bure, is significantly less crazy, though she's spoken out in support of her brother's Christian ministry.
Both aren't working nearly enough to say no to any reality show offers, and it really would be ratings gold, simply because Kirk would undoubtedly take it as a serious platform to share his opinions. Candace, on the other hand, would probably shoot him a lot of weird looks while trying to remain composed because of all the cameras. It would be awkward, and therefore, A+ television. Why hasn't this happened yet?
1. The Carters
Jay-Z and Beyoncé would be the ultimate reality television show couple simply because, in reality, they are the ultimate couple. Imagine two music superstars adjusting to life as parents of baby daughter Blue Ivy during the Brooklyn Nets' inaugural season at the Barclays Center, where Jay is bringing the team in hopes of stealing the tri-state away from the ever-failing New York Knicks.
As if that weren't enough, you'd have sexy aunt Solange in the mix, maybe a little bit of eccentric billionaire Russian playboy Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov, and a very good chance of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian showing love to Jay and Bey courtside—with Kim's ex Kris Humphries still on the team! We couldn't add this to the DVR quickly enough.
