CDProjekt’s The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings port for the XBox 360 has been a long time coming. Released last year as a PC-exclusive, it chronicled the continuing adventures of Geralt of Rivia, a legendary warrior on a quest to stop an unknown group targeting royalty for regicide. From that description, the game may sound like a pretty standard RPG, but it isn’t. Here’s some reasons you should care, no, absolutely care about The Witcher 2, as well as a few gripes I had with it.
It’s Gorgeous
It’s Well-Written
Mature Means Mature
Combat Is A Good Mix Of Fun And Challenge
It's Detailed
Geralt Is A Bad Ass
It’s Long-Winded
It Can Be Buggy
Plenty Of Western RPG Fetch Quests
It Does A Great "Lord of the Rings" Impression...With A Twist
