TikToker Alix Earle is opening up about what it’s really like getting ready for her Dancing with the Stars debut.

In a “Get Ready With Me” TikTok video posted on September 7 before heading to Lady Gaga’s MAYHEM Ball, the influencer gave fans a behind-the-scenes peek at her DWTS prep. Earle, 24, also teased her upcoming performance with pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy for season 34 of the reality dance show.

In the video, Earle shared, “I can’t do the whole dance from start to finish without, like, heaving. I seriously think I need to, like, start going on runs or something. We do 15 seconds and I’m like, ‘I have to sit on the floor and take a break.’ But I think now having our dance completed is just making it, for some reason, feel a lot more real to me.”

“I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh. Like, this is what I’m doing out there on television for millions of people to see,'" the creator said.

Earle's partner, professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy, recently shared his thoughts on the influencer's progress.

"She’s killing it. I’m proud of her already. I’m excited for us this season. I’m excited for all of her fans that I’m already feeling a lot of love from. I’m excited to take them on this journey with her. I think she’ll surprise a lot of her fans," said Chmerkovskiy.

Fans in Earle's TikTok comment section were equally supportive.

"Queen of doing it all and keeping us informed," said one fan. Another added, "I can't get over how good your dancing is so far!" A third commenter said, "I'm voting for you on DWTS xoxo."

Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars kicks off live on Tuesday, September 16, airing on ABC and Disney+, with episodes available to stream the following day on Hulu.
