Larsa Pippen is not a happy camper after Michael Jordan expressed he wasn't signing off on her relationship with his son, Marcus Jordan

During the latest episode of Pippen and Jordan's Separation Anxiety podcast, the mother of four spoke about how MJ's comments hurt her and left her feeling "traumatized" and "embarrassed." Earlier this month, His Airness was asked by paparazzi if he approved of his son's relationship with his former teammate's ex-wife, and the NBA legend flat-out said no.

Marcus Jordan felt his father's response was funny and chalked it up to him being a bit tipsy. However, Pippen didn't find any humor in it.

"You thought it was funny," Pippen told Jordan on the episode. "I didn't think it was funny. There is nothing funny about it.… I kinda felt like it went everywhere, and I was kind of embarrassed."

She explained that the situation didn't sit right with her because the public felt she was lying when she said both the Jordan and Pippen families approved of the relationship.

"It literally went everywhere," Pippen continued. "I think people started to think that online they were saying that I was lying — that I lied and said that our parents are fine because I was doing interviews and saying both of our families are fine."

She added, "When I would say that, I felt like I didn't embellish that… and I would say both of our parents want us to be happy… I do understand that it's not awkward for us to be together because it's us.

"But it probably is awkward for my ex [Scottie Pippen] and your dad because they have their own relationship or whatever it was. I wasn't a part of that, you weren't a part of that. So I feel like for them, it probably is weird. It probably is weird for your dad. I can't be mad. I understand… Oh my god, I was traumatized. I was like what are we going to do, people think I lied."

Jordan also added that his father contacted him several times to ensure he was fine with the two dating each other. Regardless, Pippen made it clear that she and Jordan have moved on together and that she "feels good right now."

Larsa and Scottie Pippen were married in 1997 and share four children: sons Scotty Jr., 22, Preston, 21, and Justin, 18, as well as 14-year-old daughter Sophia. They split in 2016 and eventually reconciled. However, the pair finalized their divorce in 2021. Larsa was then spotted with Marcus in September 2022.
