Peacemaker fans who tuned in Thursday for the show’s season finale had some thoughts about one particular dig John Cena made at a beloved DC hero.

In the finale, Peacemaker, who is played by Cena, roasted the Green Arrow by saying he “goes to Brony conventions dressed as the back half of Twilight Sparkle with a four-inch-wide butthole drilled in the costume.”

The roast caused journalist Andy Behbakht to take to social media and inquire if the actor Stephen Amell, who helmed CW’s Arrow as the bow-wielding superhero, had any thoughts on the dig. Amell, who now stars as a wrestler on the Starz series Heels, wrote on Twitter that he hadn’t seen the show.

“Haven’t seen it. Too busy showing Cena what professional wrestling should actually look like on TV,” Amell wrote in reply.

Cena’s Peacemaker has made numerous digs at some of DC’s most beloved superheroes throughout the show’s successful first season. He previously referred to the Flash as “an unbearable d-bag” and repeatedly said Aquaman engages in sexual relations with fish.

The finale for the James Gunn-led Max Original series reportedly “had the biggest single-day performance for a Max Original series ever,” according to its creator. It was also renewed for a second season.

“James Gunn literally changed the trajectory of my life, and I thank him every day, and I have full faith and trust in him,” Cena said toEntertainment Weekly. “So I won’t ask him anything [about season 2]. He’s just going to send me the script one day and that’s the signal to get the band back together, no questions asked.”
