Police in Florida took Bam Margera to a court-ordered rehab facility on Sunday after they found him acting out of control at a Florida hotel, Page Six reports.

The former Jackass star—who recently had a very public falling out with his old co-stars over his alleged drug use and mental health—prompted officers from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office to respond to a report of an “emotionally disturbed person” at the Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Fla, according to a department spokesperson.

While the exact details regarding the disturbance remain unclear, the spokesperson said that “when deputies arrived, they were informed that Mr. Margera had an ex parte order, which is a judge’s order for court-ordered rehabilitation,” and added that the judge’s orders “are taken out by a third party on behalf of the person,” but would not disclose who requested the order. The TV personality’s transfer was not considered an arrest, and Bam will ultimately not face “any criminal charges.”

Earlier this year, the former Jackass star engaged in a public back-and-forth with the producers of Jackass 4, who Bam claimed were forcing him to go to a rehab facility before shooting began. Bam refused, and asked fans to boycott the film instead.

“I went there thinking I was going to do 30 days, but they insisted that I do 90 days,” he told TMZ in April, describing the experience as “torture.” The film’s director, Jeff Tremaine, was also granted a restraining order against Bam in June after he claimed Bam threatened to kill him “in one mother fucking punch.”

In an interview with GQ this past May, Johnny Knoxville said that the cast ultimately just wants Bam to get healthy. “We want Bam to be happy and healthy and get the help he needs. We tried to push that along. I think that’s all I really want to say about it.”

Margera also spoke to GQ and said he was fired from the movie for breaking his contract. “It hurts my heart,” he said, “because I’ve waited 10 years for this.” When asked about those claims, Knoxville said: “I don’t want to get into public back-and-forth with Bam. I just want him to get better.”
