With its fourth and final season in the books, Succession has effectively landed into the pantheon of all-time great shows. Between its frequent hilarity, batshit guests (looking at you Alexander Skarsgård), and mesmerizing performances, it’s almost entirely worth dropping any other show to get on the Succession train.

Letterkenny

Letterkenny is the funniest Canadian show out right now. Despite its intimidating 11 seasons, the show is easy to watch. In the small fictional town of Letterkenny, Ontario different groups of people including the hicks, the skids, the hockey players, and the Christians where everyone has at least one quirk that always manages to get a laugh going.

Yellowjackets was already madly intense in its first season. Its second season ups the ante even more and doubles down on its insanity. With parallel storylines running from the 90s to the present day, it offers many different to continue keeping up including a whole lot of interesting characters and even weirder subplots.

Letterkenny’s first spinoff Shoresy follows the foul-mouthed hockey player to Subury, Ontario, where he joins a Triple A-level Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization team in an attempt to bring them some relevance. Shoresy is a little bit more drama-focused than Letterkenny but it never forgets to supply the laughs.

Party Down

The first two seasons of Party Down are some of the funniest bits of comedy of the century. The show follows wannabe-and-washed-up actors looking to stay alive working for a catering company while they pursue their dreams. The original run ended far too soon, but over a decade later it returned for its third (and equally funny season). Hopefully, a fourth season is on the horizon.

We’ve all been Larry David at some point in our lives. Either opening our mouths at the wrong time or just being too stubborn to concede a menial argument, we’ve all been there. After concluding its eleventh season, the famed comedy show will return for its twelfth (and potentially final) season of Larry’s hilarious antics.

30 Rock

Starring: Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan

30 Rock makes a good case for being the best sitcom of all time. While it takes a few episodes to find its footing, it never slows down after that. The show follows a live sketch comedy show like Saturday Night Live and uses its incompetent characters to make left-field jokes at an unmatched pace. The jokes-per-minute might be the highest of any sitcom ever.

The Office

Starring: Steve Carrell, John Krasinski, Rainn Wilson

The beloved workplace comedy arrives on Crave. Even if it lasted a couple of seasons too long, its first seven seasons are an exemplary run of TV comedy. No boss could ever match the inappropriate mannerisms of Michael Scott and no assistant could ever be as weird as Dwight Schrute. It’s still worth a rewatch every now and then.

House of the Dragon

Starring: Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy

Following the disappointing ending of Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon had to really swing for the fences here. Luckily it did. Even with a pace far brisker than the original series, HotD still managed to pack in a whole lot of context into a sprawling inter-familial war. The series isn’t expected to last as long as GoT but it might have the opportunity to end on a higher note.

The Rehearsal

Starring: Nathan Fielder

We all know how unhinged a Nathan Fielder comedy can be. Just look at what he did on Nathan For You. The Rehearsal is far more manipulative with its guests, preparing them for certain events in the strangest and sometimes the most cruel way possible. While most of the episodes feature someone new, there’s an overarching storyline that’s far too insane to ignore.

The Idol

The Weeknd’s first television series with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson is getting roughed up by critics, but if you want to judge the meditation on fame for yourself, it’s here on Crave this June. Abel plays a manipulative self-help guru with a mysterious past.
