Video gamers have long had a love and hate relationship with the companies that make them. If you were to troll any video game message board, you'll be sure to find an abundance of users complaining about everything from in-game bugs to how much they hate a particular character. On the flipside, you have users who worship the very ground a company is built on and will flame you to a crisp if anyone makes a negative comment about them. This relationship between video game companies and gamers is like a real-life friendship with falling outs, make ups and a journey through life together.
We came across these illustrations of video game companies personafied as the types of people that you may have in your entourage of homies. While being simply hilarious, we found it to be right on the mark without being unnessesarily mean. Take a look at these 10 Video Game Companies Reimagined As Best Friends and see if there's anyone on your team that fits the bill.

Nintendo
There hasn't been a day in our youth where Nintendo hasn't been there to bring a spot of joy. No matter how much we call ourselves adults, there are still those times when we pull out an old Gameboy and go a few rounds in Pokemon.
Sega
Do you remember the smug look on your friend's face when they bragged about getting the Sega Master System? Even though the Nintendo Entertainment System was good enough, there was just something about the shiny black device that filled our hearts with biblical level envy.
Sony
Sony has always been the big homie even after the PlayStation Network got hacked in 2012. The company has always made really good hardware but being pounded with updates everytime we power up the PS3 can be more of a hemmeroid than anything else. As much as we complain, we'll always find ourselves waiting in line at the department stores when a new PlayStation unit launches.
Microsoft
There are a few lucky gamers out there who can testify to never getting a red ring of death on their Xbox 360 consoles but the majority of owners endured the process of bubble wrapping their 360s and mailing it off for repair. Hardware quirks aside, no one can dispute Xbox Live having the best online experience ever.
EA
Say what you will about them but Electronic Arts knows how to get paper. It's not like they were an overnight success either. Before being known for its baller video game titles, EA was making games when dial-up was the fastest internet connection out and 16-bit video games were on the edge of technology. Salute the O.G.
Zynga
Ok, so Zynga can be a bit of a bother on Facebook sometimes. That doesn't mean that their games aren't quality for their audience. Before Rovio locked down the mobile video game scene with Angry Birds, it was Zynga who brought simulated farming to the mainstream with Farmville.
Blizzard
How much do you want to bet that the person you know like this is playing a video game put out by Blizzard right now?
Bethesda
Is it just us or does Bethesda make games that are perfect for crafting internet memes out of?
Activision
This is usually the person you wind up spending the rest of your life with. It's just a good thing that the jokes and stories were great to begin with.
Valve
Valve is just like the fictional "Ms. Jenkins" character from In Living Color. Nobody better say anything bad about Valve. If you do, we guarantee there will be at least 100,000 angry gamers at your front door swinging wired gaming controllers like nunchucks.
