The Revenant is one of our most highly anticipated films of the year. How could it not be, when it features Complex Pop Culture Golden Boy Leonardo Dicaprio alongside our other fav actor-turned-rapper Tom Hardy? Also, it's directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, who took an Academy Award home for last year's Birdman.
After the first trailer dropped two months ago we get a better look at how Leo's character Hugh Glass survived a bear attack and what looks like possibly the worst winter EVER. Leo gives a lot of Oscar-thirsty faces! SO MUCH PAIN AND SUFFERING. He eats wild-ass fish straight from a river. He looks at a pile of skulls while hellbent on revenge for his murdered son.
