At the end of season 2 of Mr. Robot, my main question was "who is winning Mr. Robot?" In examining where we were left off at the end of that season (spoiler: which ended with a literal bullet to the head), I felt like I ended up summarizing what season 3 of Mr. Robot would be. Based on this trailer? It doesn't look like they really even cared about what I said.
First off, Elliot (Rami Malik) survives being shot up. What does that mean for him? Who knows. Mr. Robot is roaming around the city, getting into all kinds of nefarious shit. The Dark Army appears to be closing in on Fsociety... as is the FBI, apparently. There's even a brief glimpse of Joey Badass, which is music to my ears.
Poor Elliot? He's wrapped up in the middle of everything, the confused catalyst who might finally figure it all out, even if it gets him killed.
