A Thai man recently married his longtime girlfriend in a strange ceremony. You see, the wedding also doubled as a funeral because the woman was deceased.
In a dual wedding and funeral ceremony, Chadil Deffy aka Deff Yingyuen slipped a wedding ring onto the finger of Sarinya "Anne" Kamsook, who he had been with for a decade. The couple planned to wed, but Kamsook passed away in a car accident before they could set a date.
According to the Bangkok Times, the joint ceremony was Chadil's attempt to "right a wrong" by putting the marriage off.
The photos bring a particular scene in Idlewild to mind ("She Lives in My Lap" was never the same), as well as Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers' video for "Last Dance With Mary Jane," but is the whole ordeal painfully romantic or just flat out bizarre?
