According to a recent study, D.C. is apparently a hotbed for Catfish-type activity. What's Your Price, which the Washington City Paper describes as a "pseudo-escort site," says that men in D.C. spew more bullshit on their online dating profiles than their counterparts in other cities across the country.

The website conducted a study which showed that thirty-seven percent of respondents lied on their profiles, with most of the lies concerning their careers and education. San Francisco and New York had the second and third largest collection of liars.

The women of D.C. aren't any better, as they also lied on their profiles 37 percent of the time. Just like the men, they lied most frequently about their careers and education. They came in at number two, trailing only women in Las Vegas as the biggest liars.
