NYC's Brewers PicNyc 2011 This Sunday and Monday at Governor's Island (5/29-5/30)

An island full of beer and great food. Not utopia, rather Brewers PicNyc 2011.

None

This Sunday and Monday, great food and drink assembles at Governor's Island for the 2011 edition of Brewers PicNyc. It's put on by the well-experienced Food Karma Projects (Pig Island, Meatopia 2010, and Brewers 4 Brewers) and they're bringing some of the best craft beer and food selections the city has to offer. Drinks are courtesy of Brooklyn Brewery, Two Brother's, Sixpoint, and Goose Island, with food coming from Luke's Lobsters, Rick's Picks, Brooklyn Farmacy, Jimmy's No. 43, Cup Cake Stop and more.

A few different ticket options are available, from General, which grants you admission and requires you to pay for food, through Premium, which gives you three beers and three food tastes (the all-you-can-eat VIP have sold out). Just keep in mind the real challenge will be keeping it all down for the ferry ride back. Start saving room and check the free ferry schedule from Manhattan and Brooklyn now.
