With the third season of the hit ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars currently airing, we now have a reason to tune into the young adult version of the Disney Channel and/or the soft-core CW. If you're unfamiliar, the show, adapted from Sara Shepard's book series of the same name, follows four "teenagers" (don't worry, they're all of age in real life) as they quest to find out who killed their best friend while trying to figure out the identity of some creep who sends them text messages threatening to reveal their secrets and destroy their lives.

With that premise, you're probably wondering how we could possibly anticipate such a tame I Know What You Did Last Summer knockoff. Truth be told, the "liars" are actually all undoubtedly attractive. We're willing to suspend our disbelief when it comes to a full hour of gorgeous untainted-by-Sean-Penn up and comers. In fact, PLL, as it's called by today's abbreviation-inclined generation, isn't the network's only show with a cast more impressive than its WTF-worthy plot. If you're having trouble believing that, too, then check out our list of the 20 Hottest Girls From ABC Family Shows.

20. Alexandra Chando

Show: The Lying Game

It’s a universal truth: twins are a gift to mankind. Taking on the dual role of twins Sutton and Emma on The Lying Game, Alexandra Chando had to prove that she’s scorching enough to be two girls. Let’s just say we’ve been glad ABC Family has us seeing double.

19. Majandra Delfino

Show: State of Georgia

Delfino played Georgia's brainy best friend, Jo, in State Of Georgia. How did a science geek get to become best friends with the over-the-top wannabe actress, Georgia? The same way it happens in real life. Georgia organizeed a science fair's presentation (i.e., the fun stuff) while the brainy Jo did all of the homework. They each brought something to the relationship: one wasn't afraid of public speaking, and the other could effectively fill out a lab report.

18. Sutton Foster

Show: Bunheads

As ballet teacher Michelle, Sutton Foster makes it awfully tempting to rock a ballet unitard and tights if it means getting a lesson from her.

17. Cassie Scerbo

Show: Make It or Break It

Scerbo stared in Make It or Break It as the show's mean girl. Despite how cruelly she treated her friends and how she constantly back-stabbed them, she was somehow always forgiven.

We have two reasons that might explain why: A) They had to get along to win Olympic gold, or B) She's so damn hot. It was probably A, but B is more plausible to us.

16. Skyler Samuels

Show: Nine Lives of Chloe King

As the titular character, Skyler Samuels played a teen with feline abilities, like extra agility and night vision. And while the show itself didn’t exactly have the same lifespan (it lasted about a month on air), Skyler and her hypnotic blue eyes will always have nine lives to us.

15. Lucy Hale

Show: Pretty Little Liars

You might have seen Hale's cameo in Scream 4, but her day job is starring as Aria in the ABC Family series. Possibly the most scandalous of the quartet, Aria started hooking up with her English teacher at the same school in which her mother works. But to make it seem less illegal, Aria and teach are "truly in love."

To be fair, he didn't know she was underage when they met. OK, the more we write this, the more we feel like accomplices to a crime.

14. Alyssa Diaz

Show: The Nine Lives Of Chloe King

Diaz played Jasmine, a descendant of an ancient race who has super speed, enhanced hearing, and the ability to grow long fingernails. We hoped the show would feature cat fights, but, as expected, ABC Family did not permit the topless kind, like those '80's movies made you dream about.

13. Megan Park

Show: Secret Life of an American Teenager

Park plays the network's bi-curious devout Christian in a show that features the word "sex" uttered in every other sentence. As Grace Bowman, Park struggles to keep her purity vows and reconciles her humanistic tendencies by being intimate with herself. Yes, this is on ABC Family so, of course, it's about as explicit as 7th Heaven.

12. Spencer Grammer

Show: Greek

If Spencer Grammer's name sounds familiar, it's because she's the daughter of comedian/actor Kelsey Grammer. In the now-cancelled Greek, she played Casey Cartwright, the Zeta Beta Zeta sorority president and older sister to geeky brother Rusty.

On her way to applying to law school, Casey was distracted by her two ex-boyfriends, both frat presidents (one a WASP, the other a major bum) and both still vying for her love. If you've ever watched any romantic comedy or Dawson's Creek, you'll guess who won her in the end. Real life has taught us to never gather any hope from these storylines.

11. Raven-Symone

Show: State of Georgia

Symone briefly returned to television as aspiring actress Georgia, who's trying to find fame in New York City. ABC Family billed the show as the story of an "exuberant, plus-sized performer"; the only thing considered "plus-sized" in our mind is her acting, though. Those curves just add to Symone's appeal.

10. Josie Loren

Show: Make It or Break It

Loren played the perfectionist, and team captain, on the gymnastics-centered show. She's the type of girl who'd bend over backwards to please anyone. And the best part about it? She actually can.

9. Ashley Benson

Show: Pretty Little Liars

After her best friend disappears, Benson's character, Hanna, takes over as the most popular girl in school, but not before losing a little weight. Yup, Hanna's secret is that she was a former fatty, which was actually just a pillow under Benson's shirt, as they make it seem in flashbacks. The producers liberally cut some corners because they knew viewers watch the show to see her pretty face, anyway.

8. Amber Stevens

Show: Greek

As Ashley, Casey's best friend and right hand woman in the sorority, Stevens was always their for semi-comic relief, even outing one frat brother in the process. Her offbeat yet sincere personality must be why she ended up with Casey's dorky brother Rusty by the end of the series. See, geeks don't always finish last.

7. Troian Bellisario

Show: Pretty Little Liars

Bellisario plays Spencer, a straight-A student from a family that's hard to please; so hard, in fact, that they even suspect she is the murderer of her sister's fiance, apparent pedophile Ian. We're guessing her parents never told her they don't have any favorites and loved them both equally.

6. Francia Raisa

Show: Secret Life of an American Teenager

As Adrian on the show that's nowhere near your real-life high school experience, Raisa plays a promiscuous sexpot who eventually changes her bad girl ways in favor of a healthy, stable relationship. We have to say, though, we sure do miss bad girl Adrian.

5. Genevieve Cortese

Show: Wildfire

On this defunct drama, Genevieve Cortese played Kris, a stablehand who eventually became a jockey. And yet, in the looks department, she never horsed around.

4. Shailene Woodley

Show: Secret Life of an American Teenager

Woodley stars as the show's main character, Amy, a teenager who gets pregnant at band camp thanks to the coolest guy in school. This is nothing like American Pie, however; it's "real life," or so the show would like us to believe. Actually, scratch "real life." If you watch the show, you'd agree it's more soft-core Maury.

3. Dilshad Vadsaria

Show: Greek

Vadsaria played Rebecca, the spoiled Zeta Beta Zeta sorority girl and politician's daughter who gets caught having an affair with her sorority president's boyfriend. That storyline feels strangely ripped from recent CNN headlines, doesn't it?

2. Alice Greczyn

Show: The Lying Game

We cannot tell a lie: Alice Greczyn is gorgeous on The Lying Game. As Mads, Alice holds her own next to twins Sutton and Emma. Among other ethnicities, she’s a delectable mix of French, Polish, and Japanese.

1. Shay Mitchell

Show: Pretty Little Liars

In the teen murder mystery series, our former Hot Complex plays the shy yet beautiful military brat Emily, the Liar whose secret was that she's a lesbian. She's confidently out now, but she was put in front of the firing squad for crushing on her best friend Alison and dating Maya (played by Bianca Lawson), amongst other cute girls. We know, it's a strange feeling to be attracted to a girl you're also jealous of, but we're sure you'll deal with it.
