Predator, Magic Johnson, and Home Alone all get GIF-ed
Back in the NES era, attempting to perfectly recreate a scene from a film in a video game was a wonky endeavor.
Sure, some titles from back in the day did a fair job considering the technology of the time, but for the most part we got 8-bit replicas that looked something like this.
NYC-based artist Brother Brain is behind this series where he compares a video game side-by-side to the film it was based on using animated GIFs.
We've got Kevin from Home Alone, Arnold from Predator, Michael Keaton from Bettlejuice, and Magic Johnson from his Lakers' days all GIF-ed up and prepped for a side-by-side, 8-bit comparison.
