The Best Things to Do on the Internet This Weekend

Here's the funny thing about the Internet: No matter how much time you actually spend online, you will never see and experience everything the Internet has to offer. The sheer magnitude of videos, websites, games, photos, social media sites and zany GIFs is far too much for one person to find on their own. So we decided to compile a handy list. Here are the best things to do on the Internet this weekend, January 18 - 19.

It's easy to make the argument that TDE is on top of the rap game right now when it comes to record labels, as the collection of talent that they've assembled is almost unparalled in its depth and quality. In 2014, their reign likely won't end, as Schoolboy Q looks to release his major label debut, Oxymoron. We've already heard tracks like "Collard Greens," "Yay Yay," and "Man of the Year," and, thankfully, the latter track now has a music video attached to it. Watch it up above, and get ready for February 25, when Oxymoron will be blasting from the speakers of every right-minded rap fan in America.

The Wii U has been a flop. At this point, no one can deny it. As we found out today, even Nintendo can no longer escape the truth as the (former?) video game giant announced that they've slashed their sales forecasts for their latest console by 70 percent. That is no small number, and likely acts as a white flag for the company in the eighth-generation of consoles. Ouch. But let us not forget Nintendo's glorious past, when the Super Nintendo and N64 ruled the roost, and it seemed like the good times would never end. Race is always a difficult thing to talk about in America, where our long, national history is filled with incidents of discrimination and prejudice to this very day. If you've heard of the California producer, dom$olo, then it's likely in connection with Yeezus, for which dom$olo has a co-production credit on "I'm In It." Otherwise, if you're unfamiliar, then the San Jose native's newest video game/mixtape hybrid, 1000 Blunts will be a great way to get acquainted with him. Though the actual mixtape was released back in 2012, the video game dropped in late December and is now starting to pick up some buzz, as the gameplay, design, and creative direction are unlike anything you've ever seen, for better and for worse. It's an amateur effort to be sure, but 1000 Blunts also signals a pretty exciting direction for creative collaborations and interactive gaming. Here's hoping that Shigeru Miyamoto and Kanye have something in the works.
