During Monday night's Gotham Awards, actress Laura Dern said that she saw everybody's favorite meme of the moment, Baby Yoda, at a basketball game. "I think he was at a basketball game," the Star Wars: The Last Jedi actress said to Marc Malkin of Variety. "That's all I'm going to say."
Not sure why that's a question, but it's good to be on your toes.
Dern also clarified, if that's the right word, that it was "NBA." And lest that make you think that she's gone completely off her rocker, it's pretty obvious she was messing around.
Anyway, this bizarre exchange has given meme enthusiasts/true believers/Knicks ballbusters their latest opportunity to tinker with The Mandalorian's breakout star, which of course they did.
Macaulay Culkin chimed in on Baby Yoda on Wednesday too, noting his Home Alone and Ri¢hie Ri¢h fame would've earned him a lot more cash if he'd aged as adorably as the 50-year-old child.
