Spring is here, and love is in the air, we guess: a woman in Birmingham, United Kingdom was sentenced to two weeks in jail for having too much loud sex, according to the BBC.
Gemma Wale, a resident of Small Heath, Birmingham, woke up neighbors with her "loud sex noises." The residents complained in court.
"Gemma started screaming and shouting whilst having sex, which woke us up," said her neighbor. "This lasted 10 minutes."
The Daily Mail reports that Wale didn't show up for court, and so the judge ruled: "I am satisfied that during the course of the early hours of 29 January 2015, at around 5 a.m., the defendant was guilty of screaming and shouting whilst having sex at a level of noise which caused nuisance or annoyance."
One of Wale's former neighbors from a year ago described her as a "living nightmare." Another said he wasn't around enough to "get the worst of it," but that "Gemma was really loud [...] She was just so loud all the time."
Lucky for them, she was evicted from that neighborhood last year. Unfortunately for her current neighbors, Wale started serving her sentence on May 12, and has since been released.
