Logan Paul Says He's Going to Stop Making Daily YouTube Vlogs

The controversial YouTuber has decided to stop his constant uploads.

It's happening. After all the controversies he's stirred up recently, Logan Paul is ending his daily YouTube vlogs.

Well, he's not getting off of YouTube altogether, but he will stop his constant stream of constant daily uploads. "I have done a lot of vlogs every day in a row," Paul says in a new video. "And I'm blessed. I'm thankful. But your boy wants to exercise his creativity in other ways." Clarifying that he'll continue uploading vlogs at a slower pace, he adds, "I am proud to say the vlog will never be finished as long as my heart stays thumping on this goddamn earth."

This announcement doesn't necessarily mean you'll stop seeing Paul's face everywhere, though. Instead of the daily uploads, he says he'll be working on his new talk show, spending more time on music, and training for his boxing match with fellow YouTuber KSI (yes, that's actually happening).

"YouTube is not my career," the former Vine star stresses. "This is a hobby. I hopped on this platform like two years ago. I have diversified, bro. I've got my tentacles spread out in a lot of industries."

Logan Paul didn't get into the details behind his decision to spend less of his time on vlogs, but he has been financially penalized by YouTube on multiple occasions since his controversial suicide forest video last December. Shortly after the incident, a YouTube spokeswoman explained, "In light of recent events, we have decided to remove Logan Paul’s channels from Google Preferred. Additionally, we will not feature Logan in season 4 of Foursome and his new Originals are on hold."

In February, YouTube came down even harder on Paul and temporarily suspended ads from appearing on his videos altogether. Since then, things have appeared to stabilize somewhat, but his tumultuous start to the year could explain why he's finally "diversified, bro."
