After facing backlash for uploading a video of a suicide victim's body to YouTube, social media star Logan Paul has announced he's taking a break from vlogging. "Taking time to reflect," he tweeted Wednesday night. "No vlog for now. See you soon."

During a trip to Japan's Aokigahara forest—known for its high suicide rate—Paul and his friends camped out and filmed themselves discovering the corpse of a man who appeared to have hanged himself. He added commentary throughout the video, including, "Yo, are you alive? Are you fucking with us?" and "buckle the fuck up, because you’re never gonna see a video like this again!"

Over 100,000 people have signed a petition asking YouTube to delete Paul's channel, and many have called him out for posting triggering content and making light of a grave situation. Japanese people have left comments on his YouTube channel like, "Is it that Americans have no sense of morals?" and "you should never be allowed to leave your own country."

Paul issued a written and video apology over Twitter before announcing his hiatus. While some fans are defending him, many consider his time away from vlogging to be much needed.
