Marvel figured hip-hop nerds and comic book fans couldn’t wait until October to get their fix of Hip-Hop variant covers, even after dropping several covers on two separate occasions, and decided to release the remaining 20. The brainchild of Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso, who said in a statement, “For years, Marvel Comics and hip-hop culture have been engaged in an ongoing dialogue,” the line features hip-hop albums from Biggie Smalls, Dr. Dre, Outkast , and others, reimagined—thanks to artists like Damion Scott—as your favorite masked heroes such as Captain America and Spider-Man.
Feast your eyes on all 27 covers below.
