Getting revenge on a cheater can range from the mean, to the downright bat shit crazy—because what else you would you call lighting someone’s dick on fire? The case of one scorned Ohio man pulling a Mike Tyson falls somewhere in the middle.
Virgil Bates III, 40, discovered his wife and her lover in bed at the couple’s home back in June after he had gone to the house to see if his wife had lied about ending an affair. That’s when he put his wife’s lover, Matthew Tipton, 44, in a headlock. According to Bates, Tipton bit his arm and that’s when he went into Tyson mode.
Tipton’s ear was unable to be repaired. Bates faces up to 18 months in prison.
