Jonah Hill is shutting down relationship rumors in the most Jonah Hill way.
On Wednesday night, the Oscar-nominated actor hit up Instagram to address his rumored engagement to girlfriend, Sarah Brady.
“The rumors are not true. I am engaged. But not to my girlfriend,” the 38-year-old wrote. “I am engaged to your mom. I know this is shocking but please respect our privacy at this time.”
Hill included a direct message to outlets who were reporting on the so-called engagement: “Media stop writing fake stuff, it’s corny.”
Though it’s unclear when exactly Hill and Brady started dating, the two became Instagram official back in September. They confirmed their relationship about a year after Hill called it quits with his former fiancé, Gianna Santos.
According to Brady’s personal website, the 25-year-old graduated from UC-San Diego with a bachelor’s in Anthropology of Climate Change and Human Solutions. She also describes herself as a photographer and activist who plans to begin law school this fall.
Brady also addressed the rumors via Instagram on Wednesday night, saying she wasn’t engaged to Hill, but rather his former foe, Baby Yoda.
“The rumors are not true. I am engaged. But not to my boyfriend,” she wrote. “I am engaged to Baby Yoda. This may seem like a betrayal but I have chosen a side. Please respect our privacy at this time.”
Baby Yoda has yet to confirm the news.
