Marvel fans will receive an early Christmas present this year.
As Avengers: Endgame continues to rack in huge numbers at the box office, Disney's CEO has confirmed when the superhero blockbuster will hit the small-screen. In the company's quarterly earnings report, Bob Iger announced Endgame will stream exclusively on Disney+ beginning Dec. 11, nearly eight months after the film premiered in U.S. theaters.
Disney+ will arrive on November 12 and cost either $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year. The new streaming service will be home to a few shows that will delve deeper into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There's The Falcon and The Winter Soldier with Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, a Loki stand-alone series with Tom Hiddleston, a limited Hawkeye series with Jeremy Renner, and more.

"The positive response to our direct-to-consumer strategy has been gratifying," Iger said, per Deadline. "[...] and the integration of the businesses we acquired from 21st Century Fox only increases our confidence in our ability to leverage decades of iconic storytelling and the powerful creative engines across the entire company to deliver an extraordinary value proposition to consumers."
Speaking of Marvel movies, plenty more will be arriving in the next few years. It was previously reported that eight of them will be out by 2022.
