The cast of Twin Peaks put a lot of effort into getting David Lynch back to direct the series' Showtime revival (he finally gave in), but Lynch won't be the only favorite returning to the show. Fan-favorite Sherilyn Fenn will return to reprise her role as "troubled femme fatale" Audrey Horne, Deadline reports.

Fenn will join former cast members Kyle MacLachlan, Miguel Ferrer, Sheryl Lee, David Patrick Kelly, and Richard BymerLara Flynn Boyle apparently opted out of the revival. Deadline says Fenn's decision "came down to the wire," as the Twin Peaks revival has already been filming for several months. But Fenn has a longstanding relationship with Showtime and with Lynch, and the rest of the cast must be overjoyed to have her included in the reunion.

We can't see what new antics are in store for her character, who's famous for things like shamelessly flirting with an FBI agent and chaining herself to a bank vault. As it stands, we can take Fenn's return as definitive proof that Audrey survived the explosion.
