Tracy Morgan sat down for a long interview with Hot 97's Ebro In the Morning on Thursday, and for nearly 26 minutes the hosts just turned him loose to talk about whatever he wanted. A few things he wanted to talk about: Asking Knicks great John Starks about dunking on Michael Jordan, sitting across from Mike Tyson during that Jimmy Kimmel sketch, revealing the way Michael Jackson really died, and "accidentally" letting his junk fall out of his boxers in front of his hot physical therapist.
The most gripping moments, though, were when Tracy talked about the 2014 truck crash that left him in a coma and claimed the life of his friend and fellow comedian James McNair. Visibly emotional, Morgan explained that it took time for him to stop feeling responsible for the tragedy.
Morgan also said that he has days when he struggles with memory loss, and was blind for a week after waking up from the coma. He also explained that it was a month before his wife revealed to him that McNair had died in the accident. After taking the interview in a lighter direction, Morgan got serious again when Ebro started wrapping things up.
