Who needs a tiny apartment on the East Coast when you can pick up an entire small town in the Midwest for less than half the money.

According to the Rapid City Journal, you can buy the entire town of Swett, South Dakota for $250,000 right now. That's less than the price of a two-bedroom apartment in Manhattan—in most cases, way less. And you can probably do something about changing that terrible name once you own it.

The town was owned by Lance Benson, who lost it in a divorce in 2012, got it back, then lost it once again to the bank, the paper reports. Now it's been listed for the quarter million dollar price, down from the $399,000 they were originally asking.

Included in that price: a bar, a "haunted house" and more than six acres of prairie.

The town has attracted some weird offers in the past year, but no serious buyers, according to the real estate agent who has the listing.

Got any ideas?
