Because no other human on earth could possibly embody an actual grumpy cat more, Lifetime has chosen Aubrey Plaza to provide the voice of Grumpy Cat for its upcoming special Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever.

In a true crime against the Internet, Jane Lynch was originally going to be the voice of Grumpy Cat (whose real name is Tardar Sauce), but luckily Lynch changed her mind after winning an Emmy for Hollywood Game Night, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

The story, co-written by a writer for SpongeBob SquarePants, is about a pet-store cat and a 12-year-old girl who can communicate with her.

It's set to premiere Nov. 29 and will reportedly feature cameos by other Internet memes (fingers crossed sooo hard for Scumbag Steve).
