Multiple sources are reporting that Amanda Bynes has been placed on a psychiatric hold after returning to Los Angeles following days of bizarre behavior in NYC.
The whole thing came to a head this morning with Bynes' tweets accusing her dad of sex abuse, which she later said were untrue (she blamed those on the microchip in her brain).
TMZ broke the news that Bynes was back in L.A. and being hospitalized on a 5150 psychiatric hold, which will keep the actress under observation in a Pasadena hospital for at least 72 hours, which could be extended longer.
According to the Daily News, Bynes was taken from the airport to The London Hotel where a lawyer for her parents and doctors convinced her to go to the hospital. Peopleis referring to the facility as a "rehab."
