The town of Hawkins, Indiana may be getting some more new residents, as character descriptions for Stranger ThingsSeason 3 have popped up.

That Hashtag Show claims three new characters will be added to the upcoming season and even snagged the character descriptions. First is Mayor Larry Kline, who is described as a "classic, 80’s style slick politician" somewhere between his 40s and 60s. Kline is also pathetic and selfish. With all of the chaos that has been going down for the past two seasons as the cast members try to defeat the monsters in the Upside Down, it was only a matter of time the series added a mayor to get things in order.

The next character is Bruce, a sexist, overweight, disheveled and morally corrupt news reporter in his 50s. Could he be working with the Hawkins Laboratory trying to get insider scoop? We'll have to wait and see. The last character description is Patricia Brown, a sweet, 70-something neighbor. She will be "spending a lot of time tending to her garden and offering her advice to the neighborhood kids." But the show likes to give characters an unexpected storyline to throw viewers off, so Patricia may not be so sweet after all.

Now, Netflix nor the show's co-creators, The Duffer Brothers, have confirmed the news of the additional characters. But if the report is true, these characters will join Max, Billy, Erica, and Kali. They were all introduced in season two and quickly became fan favorites (well, maybe not the volatile Billy).

Stranger Things will begin production on the third season later this year and will include eight episodes. Netflix recently had to dispel a silly rumor circling about the Duffer bros exiting the series. "Don't drop your Eggos," the streaming service tweeted. "Rumors that the Duffer Bros are leaving Stranger Things after season 3 are false."

Last year, David Harbour said fans "probably won’t get [Season 3] until sometime in 2019" since the brothers need time" to write it. "Those guys work so hard," he explained. "I mean, they just sit in their apartment and write for 12, 14 hours a day." The show is set to return to either late 2018 or sometime in 2019.
